Fuerteventura, with 1658 km ² and 98 km. from north to south, is the flattest and largest of the Canary Islands and the second largest after Tenerife. It is an island with vast plains and its landscape is characterized by a rocky landscape near-desert and arid. Fuerteventura is divided into six municipalities: Antigua, Betancuria, La Oliva, Pájara, Puerto del Rosario and Tuineje. The islet of Lobos, 5 km ², is incorporated in La Oliva. However, the highlight of the island of Fuerteventura is the beaches over 50 km of stunning white and golden sands, to which are added the perfect conditions of temperature, transparency and depth of its sea. Jandia has virtually untouched beaches that invite you to discover its hidden places and lost in the sand and sun. To access them, you need a 4x4 as there is only a dirt road. Between Costa Calma and Morro Jable, lie the best beaches on the island, although it is worth exploring the beautiful coves away from the tourist zone.
The island has developed infrastructure such as golf courses, a zoo, water parks, and areas of surfing, windsurfing or kite surfing.
