Discover the island of Fuerteventura

 

We recommend starting your trip by taking a coastal route through the dunes of Corralejo, a small desert formed by the disintegration of shells and skeletons of marine species. From Corralejo you can head towards one of the most magical places in Fuerteventura, El Cotillo. It is a coastal town known for its small coves and bohemian atmosphere. It has several beaches that you can enjoy, among them La Escalera beach, a remote beach 600 metres long, surrounded by cliffs that reinforce its natural character and give it a unique beauty.

From El Cotillo, you can take an excursion into the interior of the island where you can visit some of the most important villages of the island. Betancuria, the first town founded in the Canary Islands is a must. Recognised as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, Betancuria is an oasis in the middle of a volcanic environment.

Fuerteventura is the ideal place to unwind and relax. You can do so by visiting the long beaches of crystal-clear waters in the south of the island. In the natural park of Jandía, you will find virgin beaches of about 14 kilometres long, such as Playa de la Pared, Playa de Sotavento and Playa de Jandía, which will make you want to return time and time again to this natural paradise.

But Fuerteventura also has a surprise in store. From Corralejo, you can take a boat and visit the island of Lobos, located just a few kilometres from Fuerteventura. It is ideal for a whole day of disconnection.
