TopCar obtains the Safe Tourism Certified seal

We are very happy to announce that TopCar has become the first car rental company in Spain to obtain the “Safe Tourism Certified” seal, a certification created by the ICTE (Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality), commissioned by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism through the Secretary of State for Tourism, which distinguishes those tourism companies that have successfully implemented all the security measures and protocols included in the Health Risk Prevention System against COVID-19.
The certification obtained represents a further step in our firm commitment to the well-being and safety of our clients. Previously, TopCar took the appropriate steps to obtain the badge of commitment to “Responsible Tourism” granted by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, showing from that moment our clear intention to faithfully follow the guide of measures to reduce the spread of the coronavirus Sars-Cov-2 infection published by this organisation.
This new “Safe Tourism Certified” seal provides us with an additional guarantee since it implies recognition by a brand with an international reputation for our work in implementing the new protocols.
It should be noted that last week our offices were visited by independent auditing companies who have assessed and certified the correct application by TopCar of all measures aimed at reinforcing prevention and creating a safe environment for tourists and residents, as well as for our employees who represent the fundamental value of our company.
Among the specific measures taken, we can highlight the special disinfection of our vehicles, carried out by qualified personnel, with certified products and in compliance with safety regulations, as well as the frequent cleaning of contact areas in the reception and customer service areas.
It is also worth mentioning other important measures taken to prioritise the use of online resources, such as the online check-in system that’s available to our customers on our website, which allows us to reduce waiting times at office counters. With this new distinction, TopCar also wants to consciously contribute to the development of car rental services adapted to the new times that helps to reinforce the image of the Canary Islands as a safe tourist destination that offers all the security guarantees throughout the tourist activity value chain.
